An intriguing take on a zombie/life-after-death novel, as de Marcken’s nameless protagonist (or, I suppose, named but fated to be unable to remember it, or anyone else’s) adjusts to a new life, addressing her now lost love in fragmentary reveries of the past. A lot of interesting ideas on love and death, and written with gusto prose.
