A damning thriller from Panahi, how easily the paranoia, the torture of oppression rears its head in the oppressed, the generational trauma of it all. Beautifully shot in a way he wasn’t able to do before - the scene towards the end lit by the reverse lights of the van in the dark, remarkable.
